Vaak zijn het de hele kleine gebeurtenissen of gewone soorten die verwondering wekken. Het is niet allemaal groots en overweldigend waar we naar moeten zoeken. De natuur begint bij je voordeur, hier is dat letterlijk het geval. Wat bezielt deze slak om langs een spinrag omhoog te kruipen? Je gaat allerlei verhalen bedenken wat hier aan de hand is. Het ene jonge slakje is te lui en lift mee op moeders huis, de ander is ongeduldig en draait zich om en kijkt waar mama blijft. Ach het maakt ook niet uit wat hier gebeurt, we hoeven er alleen maar van te genieten.

Often the small events or ordinary species evoke a sense of wonder. It is not all great and overwhelming what we should be looking for. Nature is just a doorstep away, in this case literally. What is in the mind of this snail to climb a spider web? One can imagine all kind of stories about what is happening here. The one young snail is lazy an gets a lift from its mother, the other is impatient and calls its mum to hurry up. It doesn't matter what is happening here, the only thing we have to do is enjoy it.
